Status of Business Services Trainings

For your health and safety and that of our instructors, no in-person Business Services trainings will take place before September 1, 2020. Scheduled sessions until that time have been converted to alternative delivery formats. If you are registered for a Business Services training scheduled to take place prior to 9/1/2020, you will be sent a link to join the training session at least 24 hours in advance. Questions can be directed to dawn.rekoske@wisc.edu. Thank you for your understanding.

Annual Custodian Funds Refresher Training

Custodian Funds Online Refresher Training is required annually for all roles involved in maintaining custodian funds. Persons in those roles who have previously completed in-person training and are due for refresher training will be notified and sent the link to access the training when it is available (typically December). Email cstdnfnd@bussvc.wisc.edu with questions.

Annual Purchasing Card Refresher Training

Purchasing Card Online Refresher Training is required annually for all purchasing cardholders and purchasing card site managers. Persons in those roles who have previously completed in-person training and are due for refresher training will be notified and sent the link to access the training when it is available (typically September). Completion is required in order to remain eligible for the card program. Email pcard@bussvc.wisc.edu with questions.

PCI Compliance – Annual DBR/Site Manager Renewal

This annual renewal training is for people who have previously completed the in-person training called Merchant Card Processing: PCI Compliance for New DBRs and Site Managers. To request help accessing this online renewal course, please email pci-help@bussvc.wisc.edu.

How to Cancel a Registration

Registrations should be canceled 36 hours or more in advance of the session by following these steps:

  1. Visit the Professional Development Website and log in using your NetID/password.
  2. Select “Review Your Course History.”
  3. A list will come up showing the classes you are registered for.  At the right of each class is a “cancel” button.
  4. Click on the cancel button for the session you want to cancel your registration.

If unforeseen circumstances develop and you must cancel less than 36 hours in advance, please email dawn.rekoske@wisc.edu

How to View Your Learning Transcript

  1. Visit the Professional Development Website and log in using your NetID/password.
  2. Select “Review Your Course History.”
  3. A list of your current registrations will appear. Above that, click on “Transcript.”

How to Change/Update Your Personal Information in the Registration System

If you ever go to a UW training/event and receive a nametag that indicates your past work unit rather than your current one, or a work unit that is very vague (“administration”), you can update your information in the Office of Talent Management (OTM) registration system very easily.

  1. Go here:  https://www.ohrd.wisc.edu/home/ and log in using your NetID/password.
  2. Click on “Review Your Course History”Image of Professional development site
  3.  Then click on “My Personal Information.”Image of "Office of Talent Management" web page.
  4. Just change the Dept/School/College using the drop down menus.  It even shows you what your nametag will look like!
  5. Click on “Update” to save changes.
