About cyber liability insurance at UW–Madison.

To supplement the self-funded liability program, UW-System Administration (UWSA) procures excess Cyber Liability Insurance for covered campus operations on an annual basis with an associated deductible. This excess cyber insurance programs provides coverage in various areas of concern. The excess coverage requires a deductible be satisfied by the applicable campus department and UWSA.
