A new booking experience for Concur — the online tool used by University of Wisconsin employees to book individual university-sponsored travel — launches December 2, 2026. The booking experience will be faster, smarter, and reduce manual entry and mistakes.
What’s changing:
- Streamlined and simplified search window. Start typing cities, airports, UW locations, addresses, landmarks, etc., and the search box will populate location options.
- Airfare search results are no longer displayed as round-trip options. Traveler/booker will select outbound and then return flights. This aligns with airline and other travel booking websites that travelers are more familiar with.
- Hotel search results display a consistent total rate upfront.
- “Review and Book” pages reduced from three currently to one single booking confirmation page.
- The Concur “Book for a guest” process is changed and updated.
What’s not changing:
- Sign-in process (continues through UW SSO).
- Registration (registration is still automatic for all UW employees).
- Concur profiles.
- Assigned travel arrangers.
Some slide decks summarizing parts of the new experience are available below:
