How to have UW-Madison employee book travel arrangements on behalf of another employee.
This role is often referred to as an “arranger” or “travel arranger” and is typically responsible for booking travel for most employees in their department.
How to designate an arranger
Designated Travel Arrangers have the ability to book lodging on behalf of employees and non-employees. The employee will need to assign a Travel Arranger in Concur.
This is an accordion element with a series of buttons that open and close related content panels.
Assign a travel arranger
Arranging travel for another employee
Before booking
The traveling employee must designate a travel arranger in the employee’s Concur profile.
When booking
The arranger should log into Concur, using their own credentials.
- Select “Profile”
- Select “Act on behalf of another user”
- Select “Choose a traveler”
- Book travel for the traveling employee
After booking
Select: “Done acting for others” under the Profile options
